CLAIRE CREAMER. BA. MA. PGCE.
Claire graduated from the University of Cambridge with a First Class Honours degree in Education and Religious Studies. She holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education for the Primary age range.
Claire has taught in Cambridgeshire Primary schools for 15 years. She is a very experienced Year 6 teacher with 14 years’ experience preparing pupils for English and Maths SATs. Claire has worked as a Leading Teacher for English for the Local Education Authority and as English Lead in school and enjoys working with Key Stages 3 and 4 English pupils, helping to prepare them for their GCSE. In her role as a professional mentor, supporting and training teachers and trainee teachers, Claire has worked in all year groups across the Primary age range.
Claire has a long-held passion for enabling children to ‘learn how to learn’. She is committed to equipping children with the skills to become effective and enthusiastic lifelong learners.
Claire is currently studying creative writing at Cambridge University’s Institute for Continuing Education (ICE). She unashamedly calls herself a grammar geek and a bookworm and is totally incapable of answering the question, ‘What is your favourite book?’
