Maths and Numeracy

Our maths programme covers everything from early years students who are only just starting to count through to students looking for the highest grades in the GCSE examinations. We also offer A-level mathematics tuition by special arrangement.

For all mathematics students we focus on three core areas: basic arithmetic and number place value; numerical reasoning focused on problem solving and patterns; and core mathematics encompassing five sub-themes shown below (younger students may not undertake every element but will work through the areas relevant for their year in school).

As students progress through the programme we regularly introduce past paper work to help prepare them for their examinations whether that relates to SAT, GCSE or private or grammar school entry testing.
