Maths and English private tuition after school

All Excelr8 Learning tutors are fully qualified and experienced teachers who use the best available teaching materials to help children fulfil their potential. Our main focus is on the key subjects of Maths, English, Reading, Written Expression and Spelling. Private Tuition is available for children aged 5 – 16 after school during the week, on Saturdays and during school holidays. A Level Tuition is also available in maths, English and science.

Excelr8 teachers specialise in devising individual solutions for each student based on the child's needs and also the parents' expectations. We manage each child's learning. We do not use fixed programmes or give worksheets for parents to supervise at home. 

Children are tutored in small groups with a maximum of 5 students. Excelr8 teachers prepare appropriate resources for each lesson. More intense one to one tuition is available if required, however, most students benefit from and enjoy working in the company of other children. Working in such small numbers guarantees that students receive all the individual attention they need from their teacher.

After every lesson we meet with parents and provide detailed feedback on the day's work. Parents are welcome to request modifications to a child's programme at any time.

Our educational materials map closely to the National Curriculum and are widely used in UK schools. Thus, there is never any conflict between the work children complete at an Excelr8 Learning Centre compared to school.

2. Experienced Teachers... (not tutors) Only the best teachers are recruited, then we give them superb training in our ethos, systems and methods. Our maximum ratio is one teacher to just 5 children.
